The vineyards of the Foundation Abreu Callado, planted close by Benavila, date back to the middle of 50th, whose pioneering vines are still being produced nowadays. These are 52 hectares of open clay soils, benefited from the mild climate of Maranhão dam, reflected in the quality and excellence of the wines, whose technical responsibility belongs to the oenologist Engº. João Silva e Sousa.

Also located in Benavila, the Cellar keeps traditional winemaking and aging technology, along with modern techniques (cold systems, protected and unmanned unit of filling, stainless still deposits in addition to the cement vats, etc), being able to store two or three consecutive harvests.
