During the week, visitors can visit the vineyards and the cellar (as dictated by the time of the year), the Rural Museum, the old Oilpress of capachos, the wine Stage Rooms, the Tasting Room (the old House of the slaughter) and other rural attractiveness.
WINE TASTING
The new visitors of the Wine Store can “taste” a glass of white, red or liqueur wine, as courtesy for the preference given to the Abreu Callado brand and to the visit of the Wines’ Store.
But they can also enjoy the wine tasting in groups up to 15 people, who wish to prolong the degustation of wines and regional snacks that will take place in the old “house of the slaughter”. In this case, booking should be made with at least 48 hours in advance, and the house wines will be served with regional snacks (traditional oven bread, grilled cured sausages, cheeses and almonds).
GROUP LUNCHES
The Foundation uses a private room, inside of the installations of the “eighteenth century páteo” (the headquarters occupy a building dated of 1758), where groups up to 50 people can be received, who want to enjoy the integrated program : regional visits, purchases, regional tastings and a lunch based on house and regional products can be received. The lunch menu includes the regional entries and guest can choose between `lamb' or `veal' as main course.
Alternatively, these lunches -- as well as another enterprise or cultural events -- can take place in the Forum of Events, that has an auditorium for 60 people, first floor balconies surrounding the all building with a splendid view of the dam of Maranhão, two rooms of 30 places each one for meetings, and support of bar and kitchen. This Forum can also be used by regional institutions of social support or enterprise nature, since the both rooms and the auditorium are equipped with all audiovisual media.
